ORD (again) Loh!

Today I had my convocation. Not really excited about it until this very day when I was sitting inside waiting to go on stage to collect the empty board. Eveything went smoothy today and was q.happy to be able to see many "old" friends. Took few pictures around campus but didn't manage to catch prof Yeo C.K. for photo shots. Pity..

After the convocation, together with my family, we went to buy my fav dao sar biah at long fa. Initial plan was to go for swensen 1 for 1 lunch at vivo but didn't execute because of various reasons. Instead, we went to buy our 4th computer today at SLS. With this latest addition, I hope my room will be less pack and I won't have interruptions when using computer again.

improvise + recycle

Due to the fact that my savings running really VERY low, I have got myself into some recycling activities and I am so satisfied with my work. ^^

First will be my guitar stand. I have been thinking of buying a guitar stand for "my" guitar for q.sometime already. Because I am too lazy to take it out and put it into the guitar bag. So I improvise a stand using one of my plastic chair. Below are the images for my new stand.

Frankily, I am q.surprise that this new stand is very stable and able to hold the guitar and doesn't need support from wall.

I have never thought that recycling and improvising can be fun. The sense of satisfaction is the reward when I see my stuff put into use. ^^

A wonderful surprise and a great experience

Just finished my shower after attended a BBQ session at coasta sand. Its a BBQ birthday celebration for J and ying (The E.T.). In particular, its a surprise celebration for J planned by Ping.

We are suppose to gather 4+pm today (or rather yesterday because its already past 12mn) at qing's house. Some cropped up here and there but managed to reach the BBQ area around the time we planned. When we reached there, the sky is drizzling and covered with grey clouds. We knew that the weather is not right and the plan might not be able to work out because it seems that the weather can only get worse and not better. As expected, the rain starts to pour very soon and everything turned from bad to worse. Check out with J's sis and found out that his father drove back home because he can't find his way to the place. Everything turned against us and nothing seems to be in place. Ping was very upset and worried about this.

Luckily, its BQ (if I didn't mistaken) who gave a clever suggestion that we can do an indoor BBQ by using aluminium tray that save our night. We implemented the suggestion q.successfully in the end but burned and damaged a table while implementing. From this gathering, I learnt something and got to know more about BQ. Soon, we learn that J's sis went back to pick up her parents to the BBQ area and everything seems to get back to track again.

Despite the initial setbacks, we managed to have the surprise very successfully. More successfully than I ever will expect. Its a great experience that I have gained today. An experience that I can think and rethink and hopefully gain more things out of it.
